We eat innovation for breakfast.

Why Red Dot? We believe in bringing the best innovation practices from Singapore and Silicon Valley to create new products, services, and programs, that are good for business and good for the world. By cultivating a mindset of innovation, companies and governments can move towards a true knowledge economy, and create more meaningful and high-value jobs. This requires a new approach to innovation – one that is human-centered, collaborative, and accessible. We believe that anyone can be a change-maker.

Our Difference

Traditional Innovation projects often fail. But not until a whole year and millions of dollars being spent on planning, research and development. It does not have to be that way.

Traditional innovation often fails, because ideas are chosen as a result of top-down chain of command, boardroom politics, or simply the loudest person in the room. Who is right? And how can we be sure that those ideas will actually work?

At Red Dot, we talk to your actual customers and stakeholders. This gives us deeper insights on their needs, and aspirations, which form the basis of our decision-making. This is known as human-centered design.
Picture
Traditional innovation often uses a “Waterfall” approach – requiring a large amount of planning and one big, final launch of a new product or service or business line. Failure is only known when all the money is already spent. This is very risky and expensive.
Picture
At Red Dot, we use rapid 1 to 2 week agile sprints, with a tangible output to show and test at the end of every sprint. This bite-sized approach allows for continuous testing, correction, and validation, resulting in lower risks, and quicker wins.
Picture
The traditional icon of innovation is the “Lone Genius” who disrupts an entire industry with a powerful vision. But first and foremost, finding this person is rare, and this is not a sustainable way to innovate, as the capability then dies out when the Genius exits.
Picture
At Red Dot, we know that innovation is a mindset and a process, that is trainable and repeatable with the collective genius of "commando teams" vs. the genius of one. This also builds endearing long-term innovation capacity.
Picture
In most companies, innovation implies a technology-only project within the silos of a department or business unit. But as such, this is simply a process improvement project, which will be outdated as soon as a new technology catches on.

At Red Dot, we believe in unlocking value and sustainable innovation by connecting the dots between departments, clients, unlikely partners, global experts and innovation hubs around the world. This is how we build ecosystems.
