Your Role. ​You will be responsible for keeping our office amazing, supporting our team to be efficient, and providing the best experience to internal and external customers of Red Dot.

  • Keeping our office amazing:
    • ​Doing the set up and supervision of the office/training venue for the different workshops, including logistics and food and beverages for each workshop;
    • Doing the supervision of all cleaning and maintenance works of the office/training venue and its equipment; and
    • Taking care of all logistical needs (including procurement, etc.), organising our inventory neatly, making sure we never run out of material, supplies, food or refreshments in the office and liaising with suppliers accordingly. 

  • Supporting our team to be efficient:​
    • ​Conducting timely dispatches (to our customers, banks etc), collection of documents and payments, and purchases for the Company; and
    • Supporting all administrative duties, including purchasing, inventory management, MQA/HRDC filings, editing, printing, formatting of documents. You will need to act promptly and effectively for our company and our customers.
    • Supporting team’s efficiency (e.g. organising team lunches, getting team cars serviced, driving our international guests to and from airports or around the island, etc)

  • Providing the best customer experience:
    • Simplifying and automating your work to be more efficient and effective​, and interacting with our teams and customers with a bright smile ;)

Who we’re looking for:​
  • You are aware of what others are doing, and make their tasks shorter, more enjoyable or fewer;
  • Anything you plan happens, without fail;
  • You notice problems before they happen, and take actions so that the problems don’t happen again;
  • You have an eye for detail, bordering Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) ;)
  • If something is broken, you will cheerfully repair it or have it repaired;
  • You never say “pas moi ca,... li ca!” when something wrong related to your tasks and responsibilities happen;
  • You take initiatives and are always proposing new ideas to improve the team’s efficiency;
  • You love learning new things;
  • You take feedback with a smile, and are truly willing to improve!

Qualifications, skills and other requirements
  • Minimum School Certificate
  • Good verbal communication in French, English and Creole
  • Ability to write in English or French
  • Ability to do simple calculations
  • Basic computer literacy
  • A valid driving licence is mandatory. Having your own private car would be a bonus, but is not mandatory.
 
Employment Conditions:​
  • Full time employment
  • Salary range Rs 12,000-Rs 14,000 per month + transport
  • Normal working hours: Mondays to Fridays, between 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM/05:00 PM
  • You are flexible and can, when needed, work after normal working hours or on weekends (with paid overtime)
  • We do not set limits on your growth, meaning that your career growth and promotion come as early as you work for it!
